Solution for broken of nylon cable tie

The raw material of nylon cable ties is generally polyamide. In the production,

the manufacturer will generally mix a certain proportion of PA66 and PA6.

Nylon has hygroscopic properties, it will absorb water in a humid environment,

and the water will evaporate in a dry environment.

Nylon will become more tough and ductile after absorbing a certain amount of moisture.

Dry nylon is very brittle and easily broken.

In the production process of nylon ties, manufacturers generally

dray the raw materials in advance to remove excess moisture in the raw materials.

The excess moisture in the raw materials will cause the produced nylon cable ties to contain bubbles,

which will affect the appearance and quality of the nylon cable ties.

However, if the drying time is too long, the raw materials will become yellow and brittle,

and the color of the cable tie product will become yellow.

The body of the cable tie can be easily broken by hand,

and it will not reach the standard tension.

We have tested the water content of the cable tie. When the water content reaches about 2.5%,

the tension and toughness of the cable tie are relatively high.

If you continue to increase the water content, the cable tie will become too soft,

and it will appear as the flip teeth of the lock part in the tensile test.

If the water content is low, such as the cable tie just produced from the injection molding machine,

the hand feels very hard, and the during tension test is often broken at the middle part.

Therefore, nylon cable tie manufacturers will boil the cable tie, or fill the bag with water and vacuum pack it.

Then store it in the warehouse for about half a month before shipping to keep the moisture content of the tie.
